Hi, I'm Taras, and I created Kanby. Not a team of 100 people in a fancy office — just one person working in their free time from home in the suburbs of Austin, TX. I'm a serial entrepreneur specializing in assistive technologies and ergonomics. And I'm a true kanban board enthusiast. I see it as a universal, powerful, yet simple tool. I manage six different teams and pay for every user seat in kanban services, including freelancers.

At some point, I got tired of paying a couple hundred dollars a month for something as straightforward as a kanban board, so I started building a service tailored to my needs. That’s how Kanby was born.

I crunched the numbers and figured that up to 200MB per account is enouth for a small team for at least a year. So, I decided to offer the service for free.
